light study for hallway with updated multi-level section

This example of the long hallway split into levels that follow the topography.

The view down the corridor is obstructed by the level changes, but the movement through the path may be more interesting for the occupant. I'm not sure the sense of the vanishing point of the straight path doesn't create a more interesting experience for the occupant, providing that the ends of the hallway terminate in elevation shifts.

The idea is to have a long underground hallway that always is facing an open patio on one side so to always have natural light.  The hallway is wide enough to sit in-between the columns for reading, lunch, tea, study. The hide in the shade or sit in direct sun in the adjoining patio.

After talking to Matt, I decided that the floor needed to interact with the topography more directly, so a new iteration should respond to the gradual height increase of the site.
