Understanding Earth - A Stereotomic Exploration
In order to better understand the integration of construct with land I performed a stereotomic investigation. Being fully aware of how the land will react to a built environment is key in my design process.
A large rock found outside of studio acts as the foundation for this exploration.
Manipulating foam with various tools to take on a form similar to desert terrain.
Results of the foam manipulation.

Process for the final drwings for the desert project
The Silk Road Perpetual Effects
In a secret cave on the China's ancient Silk Road, one of
the most incredible collections of art looked away in darkness for 900 years. It
held a treasure trove of 50000 Buddhist, painting and manuscripts dating book
to the 5th century.
A group of explorers traveled across the world discover the
secrets that been buried throw out the years, which is what the silk roads
has left. Upon their arrival, they start discovering the Dunhung city with its
history. Afterword, they decide to stay camp next to the Mogan Cavs so they
will have a chance to discover more about the cavs. The Journey was far
reaching, however they were persistent to learn about what the Silk Road left behind,
so they decide to build a place for them to keep them close to fulfil their
wishes, one of them had another arrangement to he wanted everything he has done
to be outreached the all the explorers around the world so he wanted to build
the place for him along with a place for the tourists so his discovers will be
outreached and about the perpetual effects of the silk road.

[Process Only at this Point] -
I forgot to post this previously!
Here is a stereotomic model constructed to help me understand the spatial content that may potentially exist in the final model.. Subject to change...

More Process
Another process model..
The ground condition for this model is a more accurate representation of actual desert terrain. The juxtaposition of the crisp white construct on top of this terrain is something that I will incorporate into the final model.
Process Paper Model
A paper model created to better understand the relationship between the buildings form and the ground.
